Australia Product Recalls - Cosmetics: 2017

Two products recalled did not have the mandatory ingredient labels with necessary warning and ingredient as required by the Trade Practices (Consumer Product Information Standards) (Cosmetics) Regulations 1991.

The label did not warn the consumer the ingredient that may cause the allergy. Users may be exposed to cosmetic ingredients they are sensitive or allergic to. If a user suffers an adverse reaction they will not be able to check the ingredients list to identify the possible causes and seek appropriate treatment.
