Don't Missing the Amended Heavy Elements of European Food Contact Regulations

The recent published Regulation (EU) 2016/1416 amending regulation (EU) 10/2011,


The specific migration limits for aluminum and zinc and in food contacting plastics and products will be effective on September 14, 2018 according to the Regulation (EU) 2016/1416.


Plastics material which is in contact with food, complying with Regulation (EU) 10/2011 as before may still be placed on the market until September 14, 2017 and may remain on the market until exhaustion of stocks before the implementation of the requirement of aluminum and zinc in September 14, 2018.
